Nepal to play four practice matches before historical triangular series at Lords

Nepal  will be marching towards London by today for triangular series and  historical one day international against Netherlands.15  membered team has been selected by Captain , Coach and ICC  Representatives. Pradeep Airee ,  Sunil Dhamala, Binod  Bhandari couldnot find themselves in the 15-man squad . Subash Khakurel  after three years has  made his place to the  team.  Team Nepal has already  played a match in lords about couple of years ago. Parash Khadka leading the team will have Subash Khakurel , Sharad Veswakar , Anil Kumar Shah, Gyanendra Malla, Rohit Kumar Poudel, Aarif Sheikh, Dipendra Singh Airee, Sompal Kami , Karan K.C. , Sompal Kami, Shakti  Gauchan , Basanta Regmi , Sandeep Lamichhane , Lalit Bhandari , Lalit Rajbanshi .

This  team  seems  consistent and capable  in the paper but it is yet to see what will be in the field. Comprising of  experienced  Captain, hard-working and talented youngsters have got their mentality strong after two big home leagues. Sandeep Lamichhane will be one of the biggest search for nepali  cricket. His performance in world famous leagues has seeked everyone’s attention towards him.

Nepal will play  a triangular series on 29th of July , against MCC and Netherlands at Lords. This will be a one day tournament consisting of T-20 matches between these three teams. After the tournament , Nepal will play  her first One Day Internationals against Netherlands on August 1st and 3rd. This is the historical tour for Nepal which has already pumped the excitements among the fans.

  • July 23 : Nepal vs Saint Cross [T-20 Match]

  • July 25: Nepal vs East London-11 [ T-20 Match]

  • July 26: Nepal vs East London Sharks[T-20 Match]

  • July 29: Tri-Series , Nepal , MCC , Netherlands[T-20 Matches]

  • August 1: Nepal vs Netherlands [ODI ]

  • August 3 : Nepal vs Netherlands [ODI ]
